Quality Assurance is a critical step in the product development life-cycle. It is absolutely essential to ensure that the product is defect-free before it is employed. Defects discovered post-deployment often result in significant cost and time overhead.
SoftScope takes QA very seriously. All projects go through a rigorous series of tests ranging from performance testing to functional impact analysis before deployment. We employ a series of Quality Assurance testing methods to ensure product quality:
1. White Box Testing
White Box testing enables our developers to perform a thorough inspection and
test of the code contributing to the development of the product. At this stage,
any discrepancies or violations of the technical specifications can be pointed
out and resolved.
2. Functional Testing
Our development team performs thorough functional tests so the chance of error
or divergence from the determined goal of the project is nil. Also known as
Black Box testing, functional testing provides the user’s point of view on
experience with the product.
3. Integration Testing
Our testers perform integration and cross-platform testing to determine if all
the functional components involved in the product are working cohesively and
generating optimal results.
4. Performance and Load Testing
Extensive performance and load testing is performed on all our projects to
ensure that the output will be robust and stable regardless of the conditions.
We test applications in real-world conditions to assess and predict overall
system behavior.
We also conduct formal walkthroughs and validation sessions before products are finally implemented and released.
